Cody Carter is a country artist from San Diego, California. His sound is country from California, raised on 90s roots: strong vocals, honest songs, and a full-band show shaped by the music he grew up on. Cody built his sound at home in Southern California, playing real rooms, learning what songs move people, and earning his audience one show at a time. His songs come from the life he actually lives: family, work, memory, gratitude, Friday nights, and the country music that never left him. He has opened for Clint Black and Lady A in San Diego, been featured by Whiskey Riff’s New Country Music Friday, appeared as a musical guest on FOX 5/KUSI, and earned a 2024 San Diego Music Awards nomination for Best Country Song.
