For this special Día De Los Muertos celebration at Lou Lou’s, his band Bulbancha Yaya transforms into El Espíritu YaYa, presenting a powerful tribute to Mexican folkloric songs—reimagined through the lens of the New Orleans tradition, where Afro-Caribbean, Indigenous, and Mexican influences collide. Antonio’s musical fluency spans many genres, including Jazz, Funk, Afro-Cuban, Rock, Pop, Reggae, etc. and he’s collaborated with multiple Grammy-winning artists and national talents like Drake Bell, Cristian Castro, Jo James, The Wildcards, Whitney Shay, & Spaceman Patterson, to name a few. With a historian’s knowledge and a performer’s fire, he draws the through-line between past and present, spirit and celebration.
