Drummer Matthew Elton Smith leads the group with a dynamic and deeply musical approach to the instrument. A versatile performer, producer, and educator, Smith is known for his strong pocket, expressive touch, and stylistic range across jazz and contemporary music. His playing anchors the trio while creating space for spontaneous interaction and musical dialogue. At the Hammond B3 organ, Carey Frank provides the trio’s harmonic and rhythmic foundation. A highly respected Los Angeles-based keyboardist, Frank has toured and recorded with artists across jazz, pop, and rock. His playing draws from the rich tradition of the Hammond organ while incorporating a modern improvisational voice, delivering deep bass lines, lush textures, and soulful solos. Guitarist Deen Anbar brings a lyrical melodic voice and sophisticated harmonic sensibility to the group. Known for his expressive phrasing and versatility, Anbar blends jazz tradition with contemporary influences, adding color, energy, and adventurous improvisation. Together, the trio channels the spirit of classic organ groups while carving out a fresh sound built on groove, interplay, and creative exploration
