Armed with a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies, Aaron refined his craft under the mentorship of jazz luminary Jonathan Kreisberg and classical guitar legend Fred Benedetti, creating a sophisticated performance style infused with a soulful, New Orleans-rooted groove. Beyond his active performance career, he is a dedicated educator shaping the next generation of musical talent as a professor at Grossmont College, director of the jazz band at the Coronado School of Arts, and private coach to rising performers. Aaron maintains a premier place in the Southern California music scene through a robust performance schedule. Audiences can experience his versatile artistry across San Diego, whether he is driving powerful grooves with his organ trio, collaborating with the Voices of Our City Choir, performing in exclusive monthly duos with acclaimed vocalists Leonard Patton and Whitney Shay, or delivering compelling solo jazz guitar concerts.
