COMPLIMENTARY ENTRY | NO RESERVATION REQUIRED | SEATING ON A FIRST-ARRIVAL BASIS | NO DINNER SERVICE | 21+ This night is a rare treat where we present both the jazz origins of Matt DiBiase and his emerging DJ career as PlexusPlay 1st Set Matt DiBiase quartet 8pm-9:30pm As a jazz vibraphone virtuoso, Matt has long served as a staple in the San Diego jazz community - nominated for best jazz artist San Diego Music awards 2023, performing his own compositions and San Diego symphony hall, and sharing the stage with big SD jazz names like Gilbert Castellanos, Joshua White, Christopher Holiday, and many more. Matt’s quartet will showcase lots of original music and feature some of the best musicians in SD and LA. 2nd Set Plexusplay 10pm-11:30pm Plexusplay is a mallet percussionist, dance music producer and motion graphics artist based in Los Angeles. His shows fuse EDM energy, stunning 3D animations, virtuosic live vibraphone, a custom reactive LED suit, and interactive audience dances to create a live music experience unlike any other. PlexusPlay's sound integrates color bass, melodic house, lush harmonies and live improvisation to produce a show that’s as dazzling as it is impactful From audiovisual raves, to emotional breakdowns and dazzling solos, Plexusplay offers a wide range of possibilities for us to explore and immerse ourselves in. Plexusplay began studying xylophone at age 6. His hunger for learning has led him through rigorous conservatory training, electronic music production and animation workflows, even a college degree and publication in the neurosciences working at Harvard Medical School. Matt’s many talents make him a well-rounded composer and an unbounded music technologist. His skills have garnered him performances at at Electric Forest, America’s Got Talent, TEDx San Diego, Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man, Insomniac's Beyond Wonderland, and more. Plexusplay implements interactivity between his instrument, visuals, and the audience in his shows. Unreal Engine, TouchDesigner, Ableton Live, and even a custom Plexusplay application create real-time multimedia experiences and even allow for audiences to choose their own adventure.
