Rooted in the traditions of 1970s spiritual jazz and modern West Coast soul, the group blends hypnotic grooves, meditative harmonies, and raw improvisation. Featuring Michael Duffy (Fat Produce, The White Blinds) on drums, Sam Robles (Jungle Fire, Cozmos) on saxophone, Jason Colby (Lee Fields, Ikebe Shakedown) on trumpet, and Eric Bell (The Altons, The Sinseers) on Hammond organ, The Pyramids craft a sound that’s both ancient and forward-looking — where soul, jazz, and spirit meet in rhythm.
